Agrifood Startups are a natural generator of innovation and represent a unique growth opportunity for Italy. Supported by the leading enablers of the national ecosystem, Agrifood-tech Italia is an initiative to promote this strategic sector amongst all economic and institutional entities in the country.
WHO WE ARE
Our Mission
Agrifood-tech Italia is an agile association to raise awareness among stakeholders and promote international best practices for the development of this sector. We have no ambition to position ourselves as an industrial trade association. Our mission is to create awareness in the country, make proposals to stakeholders, fertilize ecosystem networks and generate international visibility by favoring access to foreign capital.
The tools we use are information, analysis, communication, and networking. We are well aware that the true development of this ecosystem can only be charged by the initiatives of individual players, starting with the startups in this sector.
Ultimately, our goal is to foster - through startups - a robust agrifood ecosystem of innovation to propel Italy to the top of the ranking of leading countries in this sector.
ACTIONS & PROPOSALS
As the first actions to be brought to the attention of all stakeholders, private and public, we believe that the following initiatives are immediately necessary:
Promote the creation of an annual report on the state of national agrifood-tech
Organize two annual meeting events open to all international stakeholders
Launch targeted communication actions to encourage the dissemination of proposals, best practices and knowledge
